Folkform design studio is based in Stockholm and works with companies such as Svenskt Tenn, Örsjö and Skultuna. Their work can be found in the permanent design exhibition at Nationalmuseum in Stockholm and in The National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design in Oslo, to mention a few places. She has been an invited lecturer at Konstfack University College of Art, Beckmans School of Design and many other universities and institutions in Sweden.

Emma Olbers

Emma Olbers is a Swedish product designer with a strong focus on sustainability. She prides her self of being “a furniture designer with an eco heart”, and the lifecycle of a product or piece of furniture is a key concern in her work. She keeps a close eye on the entire production processes, and like to work with locally sourced materials.
Design wise, Olbers has a strong link to the Scandinavian design heritage and her objective is to design products that are contemporary and down-to-earth.

Peter Torstensson

Design industrialist Peter Torstensson, born in 1971, was raised into the furniture industry. During childhood years he and his brother always followed their parents when they had to go to extra hours at work. In 1995 he finished his education with a MBA in business administration.
Today Peter Torstensson runs Mitab together with his brother Marcus. They have focused very hard on design and marketing development for a decade to be where they are today, representing one of the most well-known design furniture brands of Sweden.
Peter Torstensson has a passion for design production in Sweden and the cooperation necessary to make it successful. Sweden needs both the design industry and the designer to survive as a leading design nation of the world. This is why Mitab participates in a lot of different activities to support the youngsters of the industry.
