Bouillon

Hiroki Nasu has his studio in the Japanese city of Nagoya, where he also trained as a designer at the University of the Arts. He describes his design philosophy as seeking to create a sense of being friendly and welcoming, and he is keen to add a flavor of umami to his objects. Bouillon was nominated for Best Performance.

How does it feel to appear in Greenhouse?

“It’s exciting and I look forward to experiencing the reactions from the Nordic market. All my objects are made from Japanese materials.”

What do you expect to get out of your participation?

“I hope I get to meet future customers here and maybe also companies who might be interested in producing my designs.”
