About Brunklaus Amsterdam.

Brunklaus Amsterdam is a small company with a personal attitude towards design.
Our goal is to “create comfort and beauty for the mind”, and to communicate
stories to the end user through our design.

Our collections are original, intimate and poetic; they are boutique design more
than mass production. The products have a strong graphic identity and customers
often connect immediately with our lamps or textiles. They then continue to build on our original story by implementing the products in their own lives.

Many of our products are declared modern classics and have been featured in shops and magazines all over the world during the last decade. The quality of the print and the flexibility of colour and size makes the collection well suited for projects of all sizes.
Due to this we have developed long lasting relationships with both specifiers and
architects during the last decade, relationships that continue to grow as we add
products to our collections.

The head designer, Nicolette Brunklaus, started out as a classically educated artist. Having developed her skills within the art field, she designs the Brunklaus collection based on the conceptual thinking of her art world training. Her ultimate goal is to create products that communicate her own personal stories to the end user.
